Frequently Asked Questions
What's the difference between painting and staining?
Based on the final look you want to achieve, your cabinets can be painted or stained. Painting is an opaque finish that can be applied that has endless color options. Staining is generally applied to wood cabinets where you may want some of the natural woodgrain to show through. Each has functional and artistic advantages, which we can share once we look at your specific project.
Will I be able to use my home during the process?
Our goal is to protect your work area while making any inconvenience as small as possible. Part of this process involved covering the work area with protective plastic to create a clean “work zone”. We remove drawers, doors, and other components in order to restore them at our shop to help minimize disruption in your home.
Can I change My cabinet Hardware ?
Yes, the cabinet restoration process involves removing your existing hardware. If you have updated hardware, it’s the perfect time to have your new pull, knobs, and handles installed.
